There are various schemes to farmers by Central and state governments.Most of the central govt schemes are routed through nabard and are loan linked.Subsidy from Nabard can be availed when loans are sanctioned through nationalized banks, cooperatve banks and scheduled banks.Loans from Non banking finance companies are not eligible for Nabard subsidy.Farmers should assure that banks are applying to Nabard on behalf of the loanee for getting subsidy.
